Have you seen some of the things people leave out in condo foyers? It’s like a little socialist microcosm¹: leave what you can, take what you need.

It fascinates me. Sometimes there’s something useful like books or unused picture hangers. Sometimes it’s questionable like an open bottle of vitamins. Or one time I saw a used “Kama Sutra for Beginners” book and I don’t even know what to think about that.

¹ That’s socialism in a nutshell, right? People share stuff. I don’t know why people struggle to understand it.
